HVAC Service Online Training

Miscellaneous: Online classes are free to attendees.  Classes are conducted via Microsoft Teams.  Upon registration, a link will be emailed to you for the session.

Classes are subject to a minimum enrollment and to change without notice. Instructor is an US Air Conditioning Distributor employee in the Customer Assurance Department.

RSVP’s and Cancellations: Please pre-register for seminars. RSVP’s can be done by completing a registration form and submitting by email. RSVP’s and cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Student substitutions are always welcome if the registrant is unable to attend.

Class minimum is 10 and will be cancelled if there is not enough interest.

This focus class covers the replacement of the HMH7 and HMCG2 cool only slim line units with the HH8, it is the new 454B A2L refrigerant unit. This class will cover the differences and similarities of the two units. There are major changes in some of the design and installation practices that you will need to be aware of as installers and technicians. This online class is for installers, service technicians, service managers and salespersons. Instructor is Matthew Getz and class hours are 7:00-8:00 am PST.

This focus class covers Venstar thermostats and trouble shooting issues. Where to find manuals and trouble shooting guides, help with Wi-Fi and Skyport connection issues, remote sensors and multiple install connection issues as well as the most common issues, and how to resolve them. This class is good for installers and service technicians and managers. Instructor is Matthew Getz and class hours are 7:00-8:00 am PST. (Two dates to choose from)

This one-hour focus class is a recap of the advanced Ultra Low N0x in person training class. This class will cover the most common problems associated with the start up and service of Ultra Low N0x furnaces, and new procedures to help identify and fix these issues. This one-hour focus class will cover the changes made to the new SSE boards, the new Wi-F-/Bluetooth CWA connection device replacing the old MAP device. Changes to the commissioning and start up procedures for both commercial split and package Gas Electric and Heat pump units. It will also touch on VFD/s and Economizer issues as time allows. This is not a troubleshooting class. Instructor is Matthew Getz and class hours are 7:00-8:00 am PST. (Two dates to choose from)
